Atmospheric? Check.
Fitting? Check.
You listening to it? Check.
I don't have much to say about this that hasn't been said better elsewhere. In the few years this game has been out, it has been both panned and acclaimed by fans and critics alike. Regardless of your video game preferences, Halo 3: ODST showed us that, while modern first-person shooters seem to be all dark and edgy, there's always room for emotion. ODST's soundtrack embodies the spirit of the game, which is less about killing everything and more about not dying yourself.
You aren't special.
You aren't a super soldier.
You aren't the hero of any wars
You're just a rookie on a bad day to be soldier.
But I'm not here to make you like the game. You want music and you're getting music.
